Frequently Asked Questions
BOOKING PROCESS
-
imply submit an inquiry through our website with your wedding date, location, and estimated services. We'll confirm availability, prepare a personalized quote, and guide you through the booking process from there.
-
Most of our couples book 8–18 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season. We recommend securing your date as soon as you've chosen your venue to avoid disappointment.
-
Once we receive your inquiry, we'll review your wedding details and send you a custom quote. If you'd like to move forward, we'll provide your contract and invoice for your retainer to officially reserve your date. Please allow up to 24-48 hours for a response. Always check your spam folder!
-
Your wedding date is secured once we've received your signed agreement and 50% non-refundable retainer. Until both are received, your date remains available for other inquiries
-
Your remaining balance is due approximately one week before your wedding. We'll send a reminder beforehand so everything is taken care of well in advance of your big day.
-

-
Mobile wedding bookings are subject to a minimum service requirement, which varies depending on your wedding date and location. If you don't meet the minimum, we'd be happy to welcome you to our Waterloo studio.
-
Minor timeline adjustments may be possible, depending on availability. We ask that all changes be communicated as early as possible. Please note that once your agreement has been signed, services cannot be removed from your booking, though they may be transferred to another member of your bridal party.
-
Because we reserve your artists and timeline specifically for your wedding, booked services cannot be removed after your agreement has been finalized. If plans change, services may be transferred to another member of your bridal party.
-
We'll reach out 6-8 months before your wedding to schedule your bridal trial. We regularly host dedicated Bridal Trial Days, typically on Saturdays and Sundays from January through May, as well as weekday appointments when your artist is available. Due to the number of artists and clients we coordinate, we're unable to guarantee specific requested dates, but we'll provide available options to choose from.

Frequently Asked Questions
BRIDAL TRIAL
-
Yes. We require a bridal trial for all brides so we can perfect your look before your wedding day. It allows us to customize every detail, ensure you're completely confident in your final look, and create a seamless wedding morning experience.
-
Bring inspiration photos you love, along with photos of yourself wearing makeup or hairstyles you feel your best in. If you're wearing a veil, hair accessories, or clip-in extensions, please bring those as well.
-
Arrive with clean, dry hair and a clean, moisturized face. Wear a light-coloured top similar to your wedding dress neckline if possible, as it helps you better visualize your final look.
-
Please allow up to 2-3 hours for your trial.
-
Your trial is designed to perfect one complete bridal look. Small adjustments and refinements are always welcomed throughout the appointment, but full second looks require an additional trial appointment. We can also try 2 looks that conjoin into each other (Ex. Low bun to pony, or down + curled to half up. Matte eyeshadow vs Shimmer shadow, wing liner vs no wing liner)
-
To create a relaxed, focused experience, we ask attending your bridal trial on your own. This allows us to collaborate directly with you and ensures your vision remains the priority.
-
That's exactly why trials exist. We'll make adjustments throughout your appointment until we create a look that feels like you. If additional changes are needed, we're happy to discuss booking another trial before your wedding.
-
Absolutely. Many brides choose an additional trial after changing their dress, hair colour, or wedding vision. Additional trial appointments are always available based on availability.
-
Yes, and it’s absolutely recommended for those who have bridal party members or mothers who feel unsure. Please reach out to our admin team if you want to ensure it’s with the same artist on the wedding day
-
Every head of hair is different, and while we use professional products and techniques designed for long-lasting wear, we can't guarantee that every hair type will hold a curl all day. During your bridal trial, we'll assess your hair and recommend the best styling approach to maximize longevity. In some cases, we may suggest clip-in extensions or slight adjustments to your chosen style if we feel they'll provide better hold and lasting results.
-
Our artists use a carefully curated collection of luxury, professional, and high-performing beauty products for both hair and makeup. Our kits include brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Dior, Makeup by Mario, NARS, MAC, Makeup Forever, Moroccanoil, Kenra, Redken, Schwarzkopf, and many more. We also use select everyday favourites that consistently outperform expectations. Every product is chosen based on your skin type, hair type, and desired finish to create a look that lasts all day.

Please ensure hair is 100% clean and blowdried, and skin is freshly washed and clean of all makeup.

Touch-up services can be added to your booking for ceremonies, photos, or reception styling. Please inquire during the booking process for availability and pricing.
